The other day, I shared a story with my boy about how I once lived in Hesperia and worked at Marshall Roofing. (Rose, you were pregnant at the time and I was hired to help in the front office) Anyway, one thing led to another and I ended up looking for the company online. My search revealed the sad news about Chuck. I remember you both fondly and I am deeply sorry for your loss. You both left a lasting impression in my life and I will be forever grateful. My condolences to you and your family.

Oh man Chuck.... the last time we spoke (just a few weeks ago) you were so full of life. Not only were you one of my customers, you were my good friend. I have treasured our friendship for over 9 years. I will miss your smiling face and the in depth talks we used to have about your work and about life. You will be missed..... God speed my friend!

Rose, my prayers go out to you and yours. May God hold you close in this time of loss.

Dear Rose and family-- I am saddened to hear the world has lost a wonderful man. Chuck was my boss when I worked for him at Marshall Roofing in Hesperia. I have to say he turned out to be one of my favorite bosses throughout my lifetime career in the construction industry. He was always fair as long as you agreed to put in a hard days work, he always had his employees back. I am sorry for you and your families loss and I will keep you all in my prayers. Heaven is a better place though, knowing Chuck is up there. Sincerely. Brian Fohner & Family. Hesperia, CA

Dear Rose and family...I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Chuck. I worked for Chuck in the mid 1980 at Marshall roofing. He was always very cool to me even though I know at time I probably made him mad as hell. I remember one time we were doing a hot mop and Chuck rolled up on the job and was so mad that we were still there. He came up on the roof in his casual clothes and tennis shoes and had to show that guy how to swing a mop and without getting any hot on himself. One thing I'll never forget is him telling me is to never count on someone else's money. Cause I was young and struggling at the time but those words have lived with me to this day and I repeat those words to young people who are looking for the easy way out. Chuck was a great man and I will truely miss him. May God be with.

Chuck- I am heartbroken with the news of your passing. You will always hold a special place in my heart! I have always felt a special bond with you that words will never adequately describe. Your persistence and unwavering belief in ME and my ability to create a life worth living has perpetually been the reasoning voice deep within the battles of my own being. You were my hope when I had none, you were my fighter when I could not fight for myself. You were my saving grace, without you and your belief In me I would not live the life I live today! I am saddened that I didn't get a proper goodbye. I talked to you nearly 4 months ago - all the while, you rooting for me and assuring me things would work out in my future career!! You were Fighting your own battle, but still the selfless Man you've always been. Assuring me things would work out And pushing me to be the best ME I can be! I love you, Chuck. Not many clients can say they had a special bond with you and I take pride in the fact that I can. You were my friend. Rooting for me along my journey, I know you will continue to root for me from up above and I will always cherish our friendship. One of few I could count on no matter what. You will be missed dearly. I pray Rosemary can find comfort in the time of loss, along with all your loved ones. We have truly lost one of the greatest men I've ever known. Love and well wishes to All! ❤

Dear Rosemarie and family,

My heart, my thoughts, and my prayers go out to you all for your loss. I had the privilege of working with Chuck when I worked at AP&P and interacted with him in Court on Law & Motion days. He is a wonderfully honorable man and so dedicated in helping others who began the process of turning their lives around. We had many conversations but the one outstanding impression he left with me is his love for his family and especially you Rosemarie. He always praised how if it weren't for you he would not have been able to to serve his clients. You are his rock, and his undying love for you shined in his beaming face and eyes!!! What a beautiful legacy you both have made for your family. May you all find peace and comfort at this difficult time.
Very Respectfully,
Gina Byington.
