Eula Allen Obituary
St. George
Eula Rulene Pendleton Allen passed away June 20, 2017. She was born November 12, 1929 to Rulon Sevy Pendleton and Aileen Ramona Byrne in Ogden, Utah.
She graduated from Richfield (Utah) High School and received an AA degree from Weber College. She served as an LDS missionary in the Eastern States Mission. She and Robert Edwin Allen were married September 2, 1955 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.
Rulene sang with the Southern California Mormon Choir for 30 years. She also served in various callings in the LDS Church at stake and ward levels.
Rulene is survived by her husband, Robert of St. George, Utah; her five children, Jeffrey of Lehi, Utah; Jan (Robert) of Sandy, Utah; Jonathan (Judy) of St. George, Utah; Jared (Jennifer) of Peoria, Arizona; Jason (Marissa) of Lehi, Utah; 29 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Sylbert; son, Joseph; and grandson, David.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:30 AM at the Green Valley First Ward Chapel, 511 S. Valley View Drive, St. George, Utah. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah and on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Green Valley First Ward Chapel.
Interment will follow the funeral service at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S. Dixie Dr., St. George, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221. For condolences, full obituary, and funeral listings please visit our website www.metcalfmortuary.com.
