Washington - Jamie Rae Jones Racker , age 44,Washington, Utah passed away August 11, 2018. Jamie was born June 12, 1974 in Richfield, Utah to John and Trish Barney Jones.

Jamie graduated from Richfield High School where she was on the varsity cheer squad. She later graduated from cosmetology school and began her career with JC Penny in St. George. While she was working there a young man came in for a haircut and they fell in love. Jamie married Curtis J Racker on September 9, 1994 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Early in their marriage they moved to McAllen, Texas, for Curtis's employment with the border patrol. She had many dear friends there.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Curtis, her four children; Jaden, Kelton, Dallin and her favorite little cheerleader, Shaylie; her parents, John and Trish Jones; her brothers and sister Skyler(Holly), Clint and Jenny; in-laws, Evan and Rhea Racker and many adoring nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and her sweet friend, Victoria Diaz. She was preceded in death by her little sister Jodie, and all her grandparents.

Jamie was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was fiercely devoted to her family and loved them deeply. Her love for those in need was exemplified by her actions. She was loved by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 18th at 11:00 am in the Washington 4th Ward Chapel, 82 North Main Street, Washington, UT. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 am prior to the funeral at the church. Burial services will be held at the cemetery in Richfield, UT at 4:00 pm.
