Milton George Ferrier

Rochester, MI - Milton George Ferrier, born 2-23-22 in Rochester, Michigan, to Jack and Millie Ferrier, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018, after a two-week battle with pneumonia. He served in the Army Paratroops from 1942 to 1944. He received an honorable discharge early due to a skull fracture he received from a motorcycle accident. He used his GI Bill to go to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated in April 1951. He married his wife, Erma Gregory in 1946. Their daughter, Dianna was born in 1949. He moved the family to Santa Monica, California in 1958 and became "A Masseur to the Stars", which included Lloyd Bridges, Gene Kelly, Rock Hudson, Richard Egan, Raymond Burr, Jeffrey Hunter, Richard Haydn, Bob and Patricia Crane, and Susan Stafford. He also was the private masseur for Governor Ronald Reagan. He gave Gov. Reagan a massage on the day he was elected President, and continued to do so for many years. He retired in 1986 and moved to Scotts Valley, California. After the death of his wife, Erma, he married Rosalind Spencer and moved to St. George, Utah. After her death, he lived with his daughter and son-in-law, George Archuleta, in Big Piney, Wyoming. He wintered with them in their St. George home. He passed away at the Bee Hive Homes Assisted Living in St. George. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, and his sister, Charlotte Palmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert E. Lee Ferrier. There will be no formal funeral, as he wished to be cremated. The cremation will be done at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Southern Utah, under the direction of Mr. Duane Lamoreaux (435-986-9100).
