Raymond Mangum Obituary
Raymond Chance Mangum left this mortal world at age 33 in Layton, Utah on July 31, 2016. He passed away on his way to the hospital after suffering a severe heart attack. Raymond Mangum was born on December 10, 1982 in Provo, Utah, to Mark Gene and Susan Hardy Mangum.
Raymond is survived by his family: Parents Mark and Susan; Siblings Matthew & Natalie (Knowlton), Melanie, Russell & Layla (Pyne), Melissa, and Sarah; and his nieces Alyssa, Kate, and Chloe and his Grandparents Gene and Carma Mangum. Proceeded in death by his grandparents on his mother's side, Chance and Marilyn Hardy.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 6, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the La Verkin West Chapel, 70 S. 300 W. (Diagonal St.), La Verkin, UT. There will be a viewing one hour prior to services at the Chapel. Interment will take place at the La Verkin Cemetery.

I only spent a small amount of time around Ray as a missionary in Detroit, but that short time left a lasting impression on me. He was kind and caring, always willing and eager to help those in need. He was a great example to me of how you should conduct yourself and trear others.

Dear family, words cannot adequately express my deepest sympathies and condolences at the passing of Raymond. He was a gentle giant of a soul. Raymond had visited our home many times as a friend of our two sons. I love him and pray that the spirit will send peace and comfort to you.
