Alma Deering Obituary
A native of Washington County, she was born on February 8, 1935, to the late Harlin and Martha Hardesty Kirsch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Deering on January 30, 1986; an infant daughter, Bobbi Jo Deering on June 18, 1958; a son, Marty Deering on December 30, 2021; a sister, Bernadine Baker on August 13, 1993, and two brothers, Louis Junior Kirsch on December 2, 2014, and John Norris Kirsch on May 15, 2016.
Survivors include two daughters, Yolanda Gilbert (George) and Cathy Elder (Paul) of Springfield; four sons, Paul "Dougie" Deering (Barbara) and Dana Deering of Lebanon, Tim Deering and Randy Deering of Springfield; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Lois Kennison (Wendell) of Summer Shade.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 17th, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home. Cremation followed the service with her cremains buried in the Ryder Cemetery in Lebanon, KY.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
