Stephen Mudd Obituary

Stephen Anthony Mudd, 36, of Main Street in Willisburg, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at his residence.

Born June 17, 1980, in Louisville, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Amos Joseph and Edith Marie Propst Killian and his paternal grandfather, Luke Mudd.

He was a 1998 graduate of Washington County High School, was a paver operator for Mago Construction Co., in Bardstown for the last eight years, was an avid hunter, fisherman, artist and taxidermy.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Lay Mudd, a son, Dalton Mudd at home, his parents, Steve and Ona Killian Mudd of Springfield, a sister, Leigh Wimsatt of Springfield, his paternal grandmother, Thelma Fenwick Mudd of St. Catharine, his father and mother-in-law, Tony and Angela Yates Lay of Willisburg, a brother-in-law, Daniel Lay of Willisburg, a sister-in-law, Jessica (Craig) Hamilton of Springfield, two nieces, Mary Elizabeth Wimsatt and Ann Claire Hamilton and nephews, Corey Hamilton and Michael Hunter Wimsatt.

Funeral mass was conducted at 11a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. officiating. -Burial was in St. Rose Cemetery. -

Pallbearers were Jason Osbourne, Larry Osbourne, Jason Buckman, Jonathan Raikes, Jason Mudd, Gary Mudd , Kenny Mudd and Kevin Mudd Contributions are suggested to Dalton Mudd Trust Fund.

Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
