Anthony A. Bueckers

1950 - 2025

Anthony Aloyius Bueckers, formerly of Melrose, passed away Oct. 21, 2025, at his home at 493 Peabody Road, Bruceville, Texas, 76630. He passed away 62 years to the date from his father Clemens Sr.
Tony was born Feb. 14, 1950, and married Joan Richter Sept. 28, 1968. He was a lover of people, animals, especially his chickens, gardening, travel, music, the ocean, camping, fishing, mowing the lawn, sitting outdoors, cooking breakfast, grilling, dancing, running errands with his wife, playing cards 42/84 and dominos. One of his favorite songs was "Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera.
He owned TNT Janitorial, Encore Custom Fence and Deck Inc. and Just Repair.
On May 7, 1983, Tony symbolized his dedication to God through water baptism as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was currently serving as a ministerial servant in the Hewitt congregation. Tony is awaiting the resurrection promised by Jesus at John 11:25 and 26.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; son Scott Bueckers; daughter Toni Lynn Swalboski; three granddaughters Destiny Bueckers, Jordyn and Jenna Swalboski; siblings Ervin Sr., Lorene, Alvin, Ronald, Clemens Jr., and Daniel.
He was preceded in death by parents Clemens Sr. and Loretta (Rakotz) Bueckers and siblings Dorene, Sylvester, David, Eugene and Tommy.

He will be missed. He was known for his generosity, hard work and bantering.
