Barb and Russell, I am very saddened hearing of the passing of Alicia. I know there are no words that I can say that will help when you lose a child. Just know that I am praying for you that God comforts your heart. Barb, I remember the many times Alicia and Bret volunteered together at our events. I also remember our many conversations regarding our children and the unconditional love you had for her no matter what was going on in her life. Sending you my love and hugs.

Love you Wishe!

Barb and Russ
Alicia was my best friend for years. She made me a better person, we opened each others eyes to this world and worlds beyond. I will never forget the nights we stayed up and painted and drew our little hearts out. I will never forget her laugh and her brilliant personality, full of optimism and incredible humor. She made me laugh every moment I was around here. She was closer to my heart than most people I ever knew. She was my best friend. We shared our lives and our hopes and dreams with eachother. I want you to know how incredible your daughter was. She was so intelligent, so talented, so very much alive in every way possible. Alicia had a spark in her that most people in this world could only dream of having a fraction of. I am so, so happy I got to share a part of my life with that wonderful human being. She made me love myself more, she made me proud to be who I was. I loved her so very much. I will always love her, and I will never forget the sound of her laughter. A part of her will always live on in me, I will hold her close to my heart to my last breath. I can't begin to tell you how heartbroken and anguished I am about her leaving so soon. The world lost a light, it will never be the same without her. She was my Wishe. I am so sorry that you two have to go through this...but you must know that your daughter touched so many lives and made such a wonderful impact on this world. She changed my life for the better and I will always be thankful for that and for her.

Russel & Barb no one can ever explain the death of a child. The pain is almost unbearable but life will go on and time is the only way to heal ones self. These words have help me in crisis maybe they will help you. May today there be peace within. May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

Russell and Barb,
I was so sorry to hear of Alicia's death. In her years in my classroom, she taught me so much as an educator. I will always remember her for her wit, determination, and compassion for others (2-legged and 4-legged). Thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family.
