David Keith "Big Red" Morris

Muncie - David Keith "Big Red" Morris, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 4, 2021.

He was born on October 16, 1984 in Temple, Texas and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 2004. He participated in the ROTC program throughout high school.

He worked for IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital and Office Pride. He was a member of the Delaware Lodge # 46 AF&M and enjoyed military and Indian history, guns and going to the shooting range.

He is survived by his daughter, Adalyn Morris; his parents, Mitchell and Connie (Vetor) Parks, III of Muncie; his maternal grandparents, Les and Joyce Vetor of Hartford City; his paternal grandfather, Mitchell Parks, Jr. of Muncie; one sister, Lisa Greene of Muncie; two brothers, Ryan Morris of Hartford City and Nick Parks of Muncie; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Ross.

There will be a celebration of life service from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 403 N. Delawanda Avenue, Muncie. Cremation will take place.

I offer my sincere condolences for your loss. I just found out about this today. I work at IU BMH and used to see Dave 2-3 days a week as our paths crossed. I volunteer with an organization that does projects for Veterans (I'm not a Vet myself), and he mentioned one time if memory serves me right, about wanting to find/collect all of an Uncles medals (Maybe from when he served in Vietnam) ??? Rest In Peace...Godspeed my friend
