James Dean Fields

Middletown - James Dean Fields 52 of Middletown, IN passed Away Monday, January 25, 2021, at his home in Indianapolis, IN. He was born September 10,1968 in Hartford City, IN. Son of Carol Dean Fields and Cathy Shaw (Swift), and bonus father Robert Shaw Sr. James was a 1987 graduate of Shenandoah High School and entered the United States Marine Corp shortly after; he was active for 4 years and inactive for 2 years where he was trained in diesel mechanic and much more. James led an interesting life where he worked many professions such as modeling in the state of California and a ASE master certified mechanic and worked as such in Colorado, Missouri, and Indiana. James had an infectious smile and couldn't meet someone without giving them a hug first, he loved people in general. James also loved NASCAR. Above all in he loved Jesus.

James left us far too soon but will live on in the hearts and memories of his beloved family members and friends.

James is survived by his mother Cathy Shaw of Middletown, IN, daughters Gabrielle Fields and Izabelle Fields, stepson Kody Wright, and Mother of his children Jill Chevalier of Lake of the Ozarks, MO. His brother Douglas Fields-fiancée MaryKay Langley and children Grace and Marlon of Arcadia, FL. His sister Roxanne Fraiser and children Dewayne Dupree and Nadia Lacey of Indiana and Ohio. His sister Lorie Habel-husband Tony Habel and children Danny Duncan, Eric Wright, Felecia Habel, Samantha Habel, and Rebecca Habel of Indiana and Michigan. His sister Angel Hooper-husband Adrian Hooper, Averee Hooper, and Anders Hooper of Versailles, MO. Aunts: Mary Robey of West Bend, WI, Shirley (Shrey) Karn of East Lansing, MI and June Swift of Caneyville, KY. Uncle Donald Shaw and Aunt Judy Shaw of Middletown, IN and cousins Marian Klug of West Bend, WI and Mabel Doyle of Mayville, WI. and many more cousins.

James was proceeded in death by his father Carol Dean Fields, brother Robert Shaw Jr., bonus father Robert Shaw Sr., 3 sets of grandparents and very special great-Aunt Mabel Bridwell, Aunt Nettie and Uncle Devon Medcaff. Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

James will be cremated, and the family will hold a memorial celebration of his life in the summer of 2021.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to charities that were close to James heart, Veterans charities or the charities that assist the homeless.
