Jerry Ledbetter Obituary
Muncie - Jerry Ralph Ledbetter, 83, Muncie, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born September 12, 1937 in Jamestown, Tennessee, the son of Balem and Hazel (Hooten) Ledbetter. Jerry was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and worked as an electrician for BorgWarner prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his son Jerry Ledbetter Jr, (wife Brook), Sarasota, FL; daughter Terri Jo Jackson, Fishers, IN; brother, Edward Ledbetter, (wife Nancy), Clarksville, TN; brother, Roger Ledbetter, (wife Ella Mae-deceased), Jamestown, TN; brother, Dale Ledbetter, (wife Dianna) Cookeville, TN; sister, Jo Harrel, (husband Russ), Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Polli Craft, (husband Jimmy), Brandon, MS; six step children, Roger Jones, (wife Denise); Danny Jones, (wife Ava); Judy Smith, (husband Kent); Debbie Pittman, (husband Charlie); Carole Topper; Dennis Topper; all of Muncie, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Ledbetter, Father, Balem Castor Ledbetter, Mother, Hazel Ledbetter, Sister, Bonnie Booher; Sister, Nowanda Ledbetter.
Services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Austin Line officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Calling will be at the mortuary from 12:00 noon on Saturday until the time of service.
