Juan (Juanitho) Lucio, 24

Muncie - Juan "Juanitho" Lucio, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 30, 2016.

He was born in Spring Valley, Illinois on July 16, 1992, the son of Francisco "Frank" and Karen (Hertzner) Lucio Sr. He had graduated from Muncie City Schools and had worked for several manufacturing companies in the Muncie area prior to becoming employed at the Securitas Corporation as an armed Security Guard. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed guns and spending time with his two daughters.

Survivors include his two daughters, Natalia and Nevaeh Lucio, both still at home; his parents, Frank and Karen Lucio of Muncie; three sisters, Angelical Lucio, Juanitta Morales (husband, Lorenzo), both of East Chicago, Indiana and Rebecca Ross (husband, Rick), of Pontiac, Illinois; three brothers, Francisco Lucio, Jr. (wife, Amanda) and Jose E. Lucio, both of Muncie and Victor Lucio of Portage, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Burial will follow at the Beech Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the mortuary.
