Julie Zimmerman Obituary
Jonesboro - Julie A Zimmerman, 51, Jonesboro, passed away at 11:46 am on Monday, March 15, 2021, at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on Saturday, November 29, 1969, to Edward Zimmerman and Debbie (Six) Armfield.
Julie graduated from Mississinewa and worked almost 10 years for Handy Andy and also for the Women's Shelter in Kokomo, IN. She was a wonderful person and a beautiful soul. She loved her animals, especially, Pixie, Raven and Koko.
Survivors include her mother, Debbie Armfield of Jonesboro; partner, Tammy Blackburn of Jonesboro; sister, Sara (Chuck Farley) Zimmerman of Jonesboro; aunts, Debbie Smith, Beth Zimmerman of Muncie, Diana Zimmerman of Alexandria; as well as several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward F. Zimmerman; grandmother, Norma Zimmerman; grandfather, Albert Zimmerman; uncle, Gary Zimmerman; and step-father, Ronald R. Armfield.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, March 22, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner- Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Julie's life will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Garden of Memory-Muncie.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Lupus Foundation of America 9302 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46260.

This was a happy memory. We all went to PA to visit my son n granddaughters and went to this amazing place that you could hold butterflies anywhere in the place we were. They had many different reptiles. Reptileland was the name of it. It was a perfect day. RIP MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND. YOU ARE DEARLY MISSED. SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS DEBBIE, SARA, TAMMY, BETH AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY.
