Mable Vincent Obituary
Parker City, IN - Mabel Louise Vincent, 90, of Parker City, IN passed away Tuesday evening, May 1, 2018 at Parker Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Parker City, IN. She was born February 8, 1928 in Parker City, IN the daughter of Loren and Nettie White. She was a graduate of Parker High School.
Mabel retired after 25 years as a CNA with Randolph County Hospital of Winchester, IN. She and her husband was also owners of the Pizza Hearth of Parker City, IN during the 1980's. She had attended Parker United Methodist Church. She was a very loving person and had "adopted" grandchildren and great grandchildren from the community.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving son, David, whom she cared for and loved; a niece, Mary Lou Holland (husband, Richard); a nephew, Michael Lee White (Wife, Peg); her special "adopted" family, Jimmy and Tracey Wyman, Taylor Tinsman (husband, David), Kadance and Caleb Wyman, and Lilah Tinsman; and a loving canine companion, Benji. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Claude and Will White.
A service to celebrate Mabel's life will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery of Windsor, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 2:00 p.m. Friday to service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to ARF, Animal Rescue Fund, 1209 W Riggin Rd. Muncie, IN 47303. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonshookfuneralhomes.com.

I've known Mabel since she came to the nursing home. She was very sweet,she always asked about my son and grandkids and wanted to know how they were doing. I loved to see her in anything pink. That color just brought out the soft tones in her beautiful skin. She had a soft radiant glow about her. She will be missed for sure. RIH Mabel. ✝
