Mary Kemp Obituary
Mary Lucille, 76, passed away at 3:07 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, at IU Health Blackford Community Hospital E.R.
She was born in Muncie on August 22, 1940, to the late Albert H. Fisher and the late Esther B. (Cavanaugh) Fisher.
Mary married Jerry Francis Kemp on December 31, 1956, in Redkey.
She retired from American Woodmark and had formerly worked at Overhead Door, Dacra Glass and Kerr Glass. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and AMVETS Post #23. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary will be sadly missed by her husband, Jerry Francis Kemp of Hartford City; daughters, Sandra J. (husband, Craig A.) Miller of Hartford City; Cynthia (husband, Jim P.) Godfrey of Hartford City; son, Kerry Kemp (companion, Carolyn Landmann) of Hartford City; grandchildren, Brent (wife, Jaimie) Miller, Justin Godfrey (friend, Rachael Morgan), Caleb (wife, Courtney) Miller, Miranda (husband, Brandon) Coppernoll, Shanda Coffel (friend, Travis Ferrell), great-grandchildren, Emma Miller, Megan Godfrey, Hunter Coppernoll, Lillian Coppernoll, Tyler Coppernoll, Blaich Allen, Hailey Allen, Faith Horsley, Ivyanna Miller, Cate Miller, Claire Miller, Damian Horsley, Graysen Farrell; ½ brother, Earl Fisher of California.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City with Pastor Jim Behrendt.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Keplinger Funeral Home.
Mary will be cremated and her cremains will be interred at a later date at Hartford City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice.
