Ms. Rena Jean Jones

Muncie - Ms. Rena Jean Jones was born October 13, 1956, to the late Charles Jefferson and Margaret (Lake) Jefferson, in Los Angeles, California.  She departed this life on May 1, 2017.

Rena was very kind and gentle person who loved her family.  She was always understanding of people's situation.  She served as a gentle and compassionate ear to listen as well as a shoulder to lean on in times of trial.  She never knew a stranger, her willingness to help those in need was well known and respected.

Rena is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret (Lake) Jefferson; father, Charles Jefferson; sister, Garrett M. Montague; brother, Tony Jefferson (Linda); brother David Jefferson;

Our beloved Rena leaves to carry her legacy of courage and love, one daughter Margaret L. Keiths (Rickey), son Anthony Jones Jr. (Alissa), companion, Terry Turner; grandchildren, Anthony D. Jones, Andre T. Jones, Marena N. Davis, Thomas N. Davis, Kyndahl G. Jones; great-grandchildren, Zion Jones, Mi'Angel Jones; three brothers, Walter Allen (Phyllis), Charles Jefferson (Linda), Tracy Jefferson (Becky); three sisters, Maneatta Jefferson, Kharl Goodall (William), Janice Lewis (Andrew); Rena also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and family friends whom she loved and cherished.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the Church of the Living God, 1120 East Washington St. Muncie, IN.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Church of the Living God.

Services entrusted to Carmichael Funeral Services.

Still and always will miss you girl! You left before you could say goodbye. Had no idea you would be leaving me and I wish I had you here right now, just to laugh with, fuss with, cry with and to hug with. I love you baby.
