Mrs. Pennington, a native of Melbourne, Florida, died Friday, January 20, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Walter Jr. and Sybil Murphy Hart. She was administrative assistant for the Ridge Baptist Association, was a member of Johnston First Baptist Church where she was former WMU Director, GA Leader, member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class, the Johnson-Holston Circle and, on many occasions, led the Children's Sermon during the Sunday morning worship services.
Survivors include her husband: Ray Pennington; daughters: Debbie Pennington and Peggy Conrad; sister: Barbara Rushton (Eulie); granddaughter: Shannon Conrad: niece: Kim Rushton; and nephews: Stephen Rushton and Chris Hart. She was preceded in death by a brother: Russell Hart.
Memorials may be made to Ridge Baptist Association Disaster Relief Building Fund, 130 Bethel Road, Monetta, SC 29105.
