Born November 18, 1911, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Jefferson D. and Lucile Marie Lester Moore. Mrs. Kelley had retired from Prosperity Sewing Room and Wal-Mart. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a son, Bobby Wayne Havird of Prosperity; a brother, Otto Moore of Prosperity; grandchildren, Cathy Gallman, Diane Howe, Benny Havird and Edwin D. Havird, Jr.; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kelley was predeceased by husbands, Jasper Edward Havird and Theodore Taft Kelley. She was also predeceased by sons, Edwin Dudley Havird, Sr. and James Carroll Havird; a daughter, Effie Marie Havird; a sister, Mabel Piester; and brothers, Robert Moore and Richard Moore.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 22, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church by the Rev. Ronald Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Saturday from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Building Fund, 4056 St. Luke’s Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
