Mrs. Garrison, wife of the late Jimmy U. Garrison, died Saturday, August 27, 2011. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late George Z. and Essie Ruth Hayes Galloway. She enjoyed music and gardening.
Surviving are her daughters, Ruth Baker, Peggy Doris Hinson, Bonnie Wingard, Joyce Cook, Bobbie Jean Wilson, and Nancy Burriss; sons, Richard Barrett, Jack Garrison, Don Garrison and Wayne Garrison; sister, Margie Kirkley; 23 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchilden. She was predeceased by a son, David Garrison; sisters, Eva Mae Roberts and Annie Ruth Galloway; and brothers, George Galloway, Buddy Galloway, and Franklin Galloway.
