A true community supporter - when establishing my full time career a self employed Licensed Massage Therapist Brian was always willing to spread the word telling friends, colleagues, UofSC Law Students, and so many others. I remember one year I had a day my schedule was so booked with clients ranging from first year law students to aspiring new graduates who just took the bar. I will always be grateful for the acknowledgment and genuine support. Sending prayer angel of comfort to the Newman Family and other love ones during this time. May we all cherish the memories and keep his works of service going in our own ways.

My deepest condolences to The Newman Family. Continued prayers for your beautiful family. My heart truly hurts & is so heavy for such an amazing family. There are no words for such a loss as that of a child but please know that my absence of words say so much more than any I can express. This Bible verse has always brought me great peace & comfort. I pray that you can find solace in it also.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

My respects to the Newman Family and prayers of peace during this trying time of transition.

During life´s journey we are often fortunate enough to cross paths with other " huemans " who understand time, talent, and treasure.
Its rare to experience time with folks who own and walk in their talents while being selfless with their treasures. So much so that when you do cross paths they leave such an impressionable mark that makes for unforgettable experiences.
"Carpe diem" - Be daring, so as not to regret later on
Never allow anyone to wavier your ambitions. Rise upright with the breathe the almighty gifts you with everyday on a mission to go as far and as fast with as many who are just as daring - if not more chasing your wildest dreams.

Brian did just that and I appreciate the life and legacy he shared for us to witness. Such a humble and faithful servant in Christ, well done.

Sending love and light to the family of Brian DeQuincey Newman. We attended Spring Valley High School together and I have fond memories of him from that time. Through his endeavours he truly became one of our "hometown heroes" and he not only left a mark in our city, but our hearts as well.
Fly high Brain.

I had the pleasure of coaching Brian when he decided to play basketball his senior year at Spring Valley High School. He was new to basketball and lacked the skills at first but because of his work ethic and great attitude he developed into one of our better players eventually being awarded "Most Improved". We had a great season that year and Brian was an important part of our success. This says a great deal about his character and work ethic. I am saddened by his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
