My prayers go out to the Thomas family. Brody was a teammate and friend of mine since the 6th grade. I only wish I would have kept in touch. Brody is gone but not far. She is looking down and watching over all of her family and friends. She will truely be missed.

I am almost at a loss for words, simply because there are none...How can you describe someone who was nicer than nice, friendlier than friendly, more beautiful than beautiful from the inside out. My heart is broken because now I am left with thoughts that I wish I would have called more, visited more...Even through the pain and sadness, I am comforted knowing that her faith was unyielding and her fellowship with Jesus was intimate. That's why I know that she is truly at peace with Him in heaven.
Brodie, I love you!
To her family and friends, weeping may endure for a night, but JOY....

Brodie was a beautiful and intelligent young woman. Brodie touched the lives of everyone she met. Her smile could light up a room and she was truly a genuine person at heart. Now the Angel has spread her wings and return home to our heavenly Father to rest. May God bless you with strength and peace.

My condolences to the family. For those who have not had the experiences, it is impossible to understand the depth of the pain caused by losing a child. In fact, the human mind only gradually accepts the terrible reality. There is no right length of time to grieve. But sharing memories with others will help you to cope.
God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during distresses. (Psalms 26:1)
