My thoughts and prayers go out to you in the loss of your father. Carl and I went to school together and I considered him to be one of my true friends - he was always supportive of me in whatever I did. I wish I could be with your family today but my mother is almost 90 and she fell Friday so it was impossible for me to leave her today. Please express my sympathy to Ruth, Bobbie Jean, and Margie.

With love and sympathy,
Elizabeth W. Thompson
