I was looking up Kurt and found this. Kurt was my roommate at SDSU for one semester. I was saddened to read that he passed. He was a great guy.

Dear Krause family,
May our condolences bring you comfort and may our prayers ease the pain of this loss.
Carla was a great loving lady. God gave us the Grace to spend memorable moments with her. We will cherish those memories.
Love you,

I am very sorry for your lost. I can imagine how heartbreaking it is to lose a loved one, but its uplifting to know that God promises us in Isaiah 65:17 a near future in which not only we wont feel this horrid pain in our hearts when we lose a loved one, but we wont even remember how it felt.
