Mrs. Jenkinson, wife of the late Joe T. Jenkinson Jr., died Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Born in Greenville, she was the only daughter of the late Grady and Vivian McIntyre Bridges. Mrs. Jenkinson retired as an office manager with Athena Technologies Company. She was a past president of the Robert Burns Society. Mrs. Jenkinson was an artist, a musician, a vocalist, an avid bird watcher and loved lighthouses. She was a very proud Navy wife, as well as a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by a son, Roger Jenkinson and his wife, Debbie of Irmo; daughters, Lynn Jenkinson of Ypsilanti, Mich. and P.J. Jenkinson and her husband, Todd Hissong of Chicago, Ill.; and grandsons, Eli, Ezra and John Jenkinson, Matthew and Blake Jenkinson and Adam Kelly. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Jenkinson.
