Our condolences to the Simmons family. Mary and I are snowbirds and have been coming to the Summerville church for 9 years. The first year we came Lionel and Christine treated us like family. They offered to take us on a tour of Charleston which took most of one day. Lionel was a godly man and an inspiration to us. We miss a lot already.

Lionel was our southern gentleman and Christine was our southern belle. They opened their arms and welcomed us as if they'd known us all our lives. He was a blessing to all who met and knew him. He has now been promoted to glory and will meet our Lord face to face. Blessings and sympathy to his family and his church.
