Peggy and family, I was saddened to hear of the death of Bud. What a great man of God he was. I will always cherish the time I knew him--he was always so cheerful even when he was not feeling very well. I can see Bud now in heaven singing, dancing and praising God, whom he love dearly. Our prayers go out to the Cain family for the loss of Bud. He was an avid golfer here at the Country Club for many years and he will be missed at the Club. I miss seeing his smiling face coming into the snack bar with the seniors on Tuesdays. What a great man and a true testament to the lord and life itself. He was special

Bud was my sunday school teacher for several years at Oakwood.I can say one thing about Bud.He took ownership of mistakes he made in life and always gave praise to God for guiding him through his earthly life. He was one heck of a man.He will be missed by his family and friends.I know God is well pleased and is saying, "not too bad for an ole south Georgia boy".Rest in Peace my friend.
