Cynthia Stone Obituary

Cynthia Kirkland Stone passed away on October 2nd, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC she was the daughter of Finley Jasper Kirkland and Jeanette Hall Kirkland. She was a 1972 graduate of Keenan High School. Mrs. Stone was a 30 year employee of Baptist Medical Center Columbia, SC, then with Palmetto Health. She is survived by her Mom, Jeanette Kirkland of Batesburg, SC, her husband of 53 years James. E Stone of Leesville, son James Brian Stone of Leesville, daughter Erin Stone of Leesville, daughter Kristin Stone Ickes (John) of Las Angeles, CA, brother Ronnie Kirkland of Gaston, SC and two grandson Nicholas Stone and Bradley Ickes. She was predeceased by her father, niece, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

A memorial for Mrs. Stone will be Monday October 13, 2025 at 4 p.m. at Milton Shealy Funeral Home in Batesburg, SC. The family will receive friends and visitors first followed by a memorial service.
