Edward Furtick Obituary

Edward Milo Furtick GASTON - Edward Milo Furtick, 76, of Gaston, SC passed away on September 14, 2018. He was born on October 13, 1941 to the late Claude and Violet Furtick. Mr. Furtick was a member of Trinity Baptist Tabernacle of Gaston, SC. He spent most of his life working as a carpenter and enjoyed projects such as building and fixing things. He loved everybody and everybody loved him; he was the type of person that never met a stranger. He's not in pain anymore, he's now in the arms of Jesus. Mr. Furtick is survived by his wife, Lillie Ruth Furtick; children, Jean (Carroll) Wise , Glenda (Donald) Phelps, and Randall Wayne Furtick; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Marcella Crim of Gaston, Francis Furtick of Gaston, Stanley Furtick of Beaufort, and Jimmy Furtick of Gaston. He is preceded in death by his son, Edward Bryan Furtick. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 12-1 PM at Trinity Baptist Tabernacle in Gaston, SC. The service will be held at 1 PM at the church and burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Trinity Baptist Tabernacle C/O 1101 Old Sandy Run Road Gaston, SC 29053 Please sign the online guestbook at www.moseleyfuneralservice.com.
