Ed Grady was one of the reasons I became a teacher. One day, after a particularly rambunctious drama class, I asked him, "Mr. Grady, why do you put up with high school kids when you could be acting and doing film?" He replied, "because every year, I have at least one student just like you." ...I never forgot it. I became a drama teacher. I try to look for my one every year, because that's what Ed inspired in me. Rest his soul.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Grady's family in this time of loss. I took care of Mr. Grady for many years as Dr. Law's nurse and every visit with him was a pleasure and at the least an adventure into his past.
You will be missed, Mr. Grady.
