Evelyn Driggers WINNSBORO - Funeral service for Evelyn Carter Driggers will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015 at First Church of the Nazarene in Winnsboro conducted by Reverend Harry Varn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pope Funeral Home. Evelyn went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. She was born in Hemmingway, SC on September 6, 1924. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday school. Survivors include her children, Jonnette (Donald) Thier, Lindsay (Ann) Driggers, Katheryn (Wayne) Wooten, Allan Driggers, Gene Driggers, Ann (Glenn) Anderson and Richard (Susanna) Driggers; sister, Joyce Deese; nineteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Driggers and five brothers.
