Lexington, South Carolina - Evelyn C. Dunlap, 92, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was the wife of the late, Reuben Y. Dunlap.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 24, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Thompson's Funeral Home, Lexington, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Chaplin David Deming with All Seasons Healthcare will officiate and burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Danny Dalton, Jerad Dunlap, Clay Morell, Chris Greer, Lance Caughman, and Brandon Caughman. Honorary pallbearers are Gavin Greer, Noah Kinard, Dylan Caughman, Eli Dunlap, Owen Caughman, and Sawyer Dalton,
Mrs. Dunlap was born in St. Matthews, SC, a daughter of the late Shaler Henry and Belle Driggers Crider. She was retired from Velvetex Printing, Inc. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Columbia and served as WMU Director. She was a member of American Legion Post 130 Women's Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children Jeannene (Jack) Dalton, Charles (Denise) Dunlap, and Karen (Thomas) Morell; grandchildren, Lynn Kinard, Daniel (Kason) Dalton, Jerad (Marybeth) Dunlap, Kimberly (Lance ) Caughman, Jayme (Chris) Greer and Clayton (Jessica) Morell; extended grandchildren, McKayla (Austin) Steen, Kendall Estep; great grandchildren, Brandon Caughman, Dylan Caughman, Gracyn Caughman, Gavin Greer, Noah Kinard, Eden Greer, Lena Dunlap, Emma Kinard, Eli Dunlap, Avyn Caughman, Owen Caughman, Sawyer Dalton, and Avalee Morell; extended great grandchildren, Dylan Whitman, Emma Henry, Carson Steen, Parker Ripley, and Addie Steen; three sisters-in-law, Lillian Jeffcoat, Joyce Crider and Betty Jo Crider. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Reuben Y Dunlap; sisters Louise Crider and Betty Black and brothers, Cramer Crider and Randy Crider.
