Francis O'Kelly Obituary
Dr. O'Kelly was a board-certified urologist who practiced in Toronto, Ontario, Columbia, South Carolina, and Newport Beach, California. He served the medical staff as chief of staff at hospitals in Toronto and Newport Beach.
Dr. O'Kelly served in the United States Army as a sieutenant colonel. He served his country honorably in operation Desert Storm.
Surviving are a former wife, Agnes O'Kelly of Pawley's Island, three sons and spouses, James Kevin O'Kelly, M.D. (Tonya) of Florence, Peter P. O'Kelly, M.D.( Kristen) of Florence, Frank M. O'Kelly Jr., M.D.,( Jenny) of Cambridge, England, and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Florence, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prostate Cancer Research Institute, 5777 W. Century Blvd., Ste. 800, Los Angeles, CA 90045; or to Veterans' Families United Foundation, P.O. Box 14355, Oklahoma City, OK 73113.
Waters-Powell Funeral Home of Florence is assisting the family of Dr. O'Kelly.
