She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Wooten Jr., her son, Lofton Ronald Lemox, and grandson, Lofton R. 'Beau' Lemox Jr.
She is survived by stepdaughters, Kathy Adams and her husband, Lewis, and Marsha Lane and her husband, Randy, all of Jonesboro, GA; stepgrandsons, Brian Adams of Athens, GA, and Brandon Adams of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Rebecca Sue Lemox-Byroads and Tracy Lane Lemox; six great-grandchildren, Danielle Lemox, Patrick Byroads, Christian Byroads, Trey Lemox, Shelby Lemox and Alexis Creech-Lemox; three great-great-grandchildren, Emerson Frye, Kyler Lemox and Seth Hereford. She is also survived by her sister, Daisy Dukes and her husband, Lewis, of Orangeburg, SC; and her brother, Richard Lemox and his wife, Joanne, of Columbia, SC; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating the lives of Geneva and Tom will be held Friday, October 21, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. in Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:30 p.m.
