Winnsboro, South Carolina - Hannah Patrick Phillips, 92 of Winnsboro, SC, died October 12, 2021, surrounded by family members. Born on June 24, 1929, in Chester, SC, she was the daughter of Killough Henry Patrick and Ivor Brown Patrick of White Oak, SC.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Killough Jr, her sister, Sarah Jane Davis, and her husband of 62 years, H.G. (Phil) Phillips, Jr. She is survived by their children: Grady Phillips (Dora), Jane Phillips, Helen Vanvick (Scott), and Hannah Blanton (Charles). They were the most
loving grandparents to twelve: Hannah Spires (Chris), Ruthie Joyner (Sam), Mary Grace Faulk (Eric), Sarah Phillips (Bradley), Herman Phillips, Rebekah Phillips, Caroline Dempster (Andrew), Matthew Vanvick (Virginia), Will Vanvick (Peyton), Virginia Blanton, Charles
Blanton, Jr., and Brown Blanton. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren who endearingly called her Great-Mama and by her best friend and twin sister, Ivor Stephenson (Jim).
According to Hannah, being a child of God and wife of Phil have been her greatest blessings in life. She lived with dedication, love, and purpose up to her last moments.
Visitation will be on the grounds of White Oak ARP Church, 284 Patrick Road, White Oak, SC on Friday, October 15, 2021, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm. Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Bethel ARP Church, 101 Zion Street, Winnsboro, SC with burial following at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Hudson Street Extension, Winnsboro, SC.
