Harold Stone Obituary

Harold J. Stone WAGENER - Harold J. Stone, 70, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Born on May 13, 1942 in Aiken County, SC, he was the son of the late Alfred and Lillie Mae Widener Stone. He was a member of Rosemary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He retired from Milliken Company in Barnwell. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 3:00PM at Rosemary Baptist Church of Williston, with the Rev. Dan Fogle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Rosemary Baptist Church building Fund, Trinity Hospice of Augusta, or Augusta Oncology Services. Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Rosalyn W. Stone of the home, daughter, Lynn S.(Mike) Langley of Williston; three sons Craig Stone of Wagener, Dickie(Wendy) Widener of Blackville, Ken Widener of the home; nine grandchildren, Christopher Stone, Tad(Amy) Stone, Ashley(Josh) Rushton, Todd and Shelby Mitchum, Brandon, Triston, and Spencer Widener. Roslyn and family,We are sorry about Harold.. Heaven has another angel and he is walking the streets of gold having a glorious day with his Dad,Mom and Jeff!!May God wrap his loving arms around each of you and give you all comfort, peace during this diffcult time..You all are in our Prayers and Thoughts and we Love You all..
