Harry B. Weaver COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Harry B. Weaver, 82, of Columbia will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday May 30, 2013 in the chapel of Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Dr. Robert Winburn officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday May 29, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Spring Valley Baptist Church, 91 Polo Road, Columbia, SC 29223. Mr. Weaver passed away Saturday May 25, 2013. Born in Iselin, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Harry and Maria Nelson Weaver. Mr. Weaver was a U.S. Navy veteran, received a electrical engineering degree from North Western University, was employed with the Federal Government for thirty years and owned and operated Weaver Refrigeration service from 1963 to 1995 in New Jersey. Upon retiring, Mr. Weaver and his wife relocated to South Carolina to be with there grandchildren. He soon became an avid gardner winning him many awards. Mr. Weaver is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Mildred Roberta Pfau Weaver; son, Dr. Gary S. Weaver and daughter-in-law, Julie Davis Weaver; daughter, Kim M.
