Hey Johnnie- So sorry to hear about your mom. I believe there is no other love like a mother's love and I know you will miss her. I lost my father about 2 years ago and miss him terribly. But he left so many wonderful memories for me, my brother and his grandkids. I still have mom who is 84. She is in assisted living and is doing quite well considering a few chronic health problems. Take care Johnnie and hope to see you and your wife at our next reunion. Sincerely, Jennifer Wells DePue Norman

Dear Johnny and family,
We were so sorry to learn of Mrs Norris' death. Her obituary was beautifully written and a wonderful tribute to a gracious Christian lady, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. We understand your pain, as there is no one in the world like a mother. We are glad she is at peace, though, and in heaven with her heavenly Father.

Dear Johnny and Family,
I was so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. We have shared many happy childhood memories. Remember the swings in your side yard? Many pleasant hours were spent in them!! And your Mom grew the most beautiful Peace roses. They always smelled so sweet!! May her memory be ever sweet to you and your entire family. What a joy in knowing that you will be reunited with her in the Lord Jesus on that glorious day!! Give your Dad my sympathy and love,
Cindy Bryant LeMarr Morristown, Tn.

To The Norris Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a lovely lady and I remember that sweet smile when I was growing up at Oakwood. May God grant you peace during this difficult time. Love to all of you.

John, Myra and I were very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I recall several visits in high school to your house and her very southern hospitality and patience with "all your rowdy friends" and fellow football team mates! I can also remember many times she provided Hugh, myself and others snacks while putting up with our constant noise goofing around or throwing football with you in the yard. She was a gracious lady and our sincere condolences to your Dad, you and your family...Regards, Mike Haynes
