James E. "Buck" Jumper GILBERT - Services for James Edward "Buck" Jumper, 68, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Glenn Day officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Mr. Jumper passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Born in Lexington County, he was a son of the late Bennie O. (Ben) and Addie Rae Koon Jumper. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, a US Army Vietnam Veteran, and retired from Southeastern Freight Lines with 39 years of service. Survivors include a son, Benji Jumper (Gina); a daughter, Paige Craps (David); brother, William Jumper (Reba); sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Betty Jo Day, Maurice Rae Derrick, Mary Ann Risinger, Sandra Clamp (Kendle), Rachel Lowman (Cecil), Elaine Eargle (Jimmy), and Linda Shealy (Terry); grandchildren, Blake and Courtney Craps and Ashton Jumper. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn Addy Jumper, sister, Mavis Koon Jumper and an infant brother.
