Janet's tireless involvement with and support of SC GMIS often intersected with similar efforts of PMI Charleston, resulting in an ongoing partnership between our two organizations. Janet and her knowledge, passion for her industry, and her willingness to help others will be sincerely missed. The PMI Charleston Board of Directors are pleased to honor her memory with a memorial contribution to Carolina Wildlife Center. We send our heartfelt condolences to all of her family and friends.

I got to know Janet through the Metropolitan Information Exchange (MIX) an association of local government CIOs and IT Directors. It was a pleasure to share ideas and get support from Janet. She will be missed. Photo - Janet at the 2015 MIX Conference, Slover Library Norfolk Virginia.

My husband Kay Randall and I were blessed to work with Janet through the GMIS International organization. She provided wonderful leadership and professionalism in all of her endeavors. I spoke to her back in May as we were planning a GMIS Past Presidents reunion at the 50th Anniversary Conference scheduled for this August. She shared about her leg, rehabilitation, and desire to make it to this Conference. I know she will be present in Spirit. She will be missed but we´ll remembered for her friendship and contribution to implementing innovative technologies during her career.
We offer our deepest condolences to the family and prayers of comfort during this difficult time.

We had the pleasure of counting Janet as a friend and colleague in the national leadership association for the country's top government CIOs/IT Directors. She was a member for almost 10 years!
Janet was a fun, kind, and thoughtful peer. Many of us are heartbroken at losing her.
Sending you our sympathies, along with our willingness to help your family if you need anything. We made a donation to the Carolina Wildlife Center in her honor.
May fond memories of Janet help us all through the loss of her.

JC was amazing! I've been sharing fond memories of her with friends who knew her and those that didn't since I heard her life on Earth ended. As she lives on through memory and through the souls she touched, may All That Is Kind And Gentle comfort those who grieve.
