Jeremy Welch Obituary
In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the trust fund for Caiman Jeremy Welch, in care of Mandy Welch Moore, 160 Fox Meadow Lane, Hopkins, SC 29061.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Horrell Hill Baptist Church, 920 Horrell Hill Road, Hopkins, SC 29061. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Horrell Hill Baptist Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening for visitation.
Greenlawn Funeral Home of Columbia, SC is assisting the family. Online condolences may be offered at www.GreenlawnMemorialParkandFH.com.

Jeremy ~ you will always be “Dreamy” to me. I will always cherish the special memories you and I shared. Life led us on different paths, but we always shared something special together that never led us astray from the comfort we always seemed to find in each other. In this time of sorrow, I find comfort in knowing I will see you again. You will remain in my heart forever. You were and always will be loved. I will never forget the rainbow!!

This morning I awoke to the strong prompting of the Holy Spirit to write down these words as he gave them to me. I was able to get in touch with Jeremys friend Dennis and he contacted Jeremys sister for permission to share these words with you. I say this to not boast of myself but to boast in the Lord(1Cor26-31) for the words you are about to read come from the Spirit for you. May they bless you and heal you. It is my prayer that the Holy Spirit touch your heart today as you read this and you recieve the Lord as your Saviour if you do not know him.
I would like to thank the Welch family for there permission to share this with everyone. May the healing power of Our Lord Jesus Christ rain down on you all.

I buried my friend today
his smile I shall miss
The way he would say "Good morning"
would give me such a lift
Even though I am saddened
by the loss of my friend
I know in my heart
I will see him again
Let me reassure you too
that he is with our Lord
for only hours before his death
to him his sins he bore
The Lord reminds me of a day
when Jeremy looked at me
I told him what was different
and what God was doing in me
I realize now
that one little seed
was just the beginning
of the seeds of many
He too would come to believe
It was a choice
He had to make
Him, and Him alone
The decision to follow Christ

I buried my friend today

I only knew Jeremy for a few years through TTHD, but he was always the nicest guy. He always had a kind word, and always went out of his way to say hello.
