John Miles Loadholt BARNWELL - John Miles Loadholt, 43, of Barnwell, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016. John Miles was born on November 19, 1972 in Barnwell, SC and was the son of Miles and Anna Gray Loadholt of Barnwell. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, ElizabethAnn Loadholt Carroll (Lee), his nephews Gressette Loadholt Felder and William Nelson Felder, his niece Anna Baskin Felder, his aunt and uncle Richard and Jane Gray Hunter of Barnwell, and first cousins Richard Ellings Hunter, III (Leslie) and Gray Hunter Mole (John Henry). He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents William Coweda and Sallie Williams Gray of Allendale, SC and his paternal grandparents John Miles and Sadie Ray Jenny Loadholt and step grandmother Dessie Strawhorn Loadholt of Fairfax, SC. John Miles attended Barnwell schools, Spartanburg Methodist College, and the University of South Carolina at Beaufort. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the University of South Carolina Educational Foundation, USC Gift Processing, 1027 Barnwell St., Columbia, SC 29208 (Reference Loadholt Scholarship) or the Fairfax Cemetery fund, P.O. Box 820 Fairfax, SC 29827. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Fairfax Cemetery on Boundry St., Fairfax, SC with Rev. Keith Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Barnwell (161 Allen St, Barnwell, SC) from 5:00 7:00PM.
