Julia Disney Obituary
Mrs. Disney passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2009. Born in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Earle Hargrove Duncan and Glayds Long Duncan. She was active in the Pelion Community Center. Julia was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt; she will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, G. Michael deWolfee of Columbia, William C. deWolfee of Leesville, John R. and Lena deWolfee of Columbia, Lawrence E. and Helen deWolfee of Pelion, David W. Disney of Romney, WV; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas and Sandra Sharpe Cobb of West Columbia; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her son, Jackie deWolfee, Jr.

Jul if i may, she was one of my dearest and oldest friend we did so much togather and been through so much she saw my children become adults. We always knew what the other was thinking and we were always there for each other, we had a friendship that didn't require to visit or to call each other everyday for we both knew in our hearts how much we ment to each other. Jul was one of a kind she was my best friend, sister and a mother image, she was someone i can say i was so very proud to have as my friend.I will miss her dearly but GOD has plans for now so i will let go she will always be in my heart and never will be forgotten. Julia was a dear friend to me, and I'll miss her very much. She was enough older than me to have been in a position to make my life miserable with teasing when we were growing up, but she always behaved like a kind big sister. She loved her whole family dearly; she and I were both proud to have been named for our grandmother Julia Rebecca (Thomas) Long.
