Karie Ann Carter COLUMBIA Karie Ann Carter, 61, of Columbia, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Born August 12, 1956 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. Carter and Emilie Lowman Carter. Karie Ann was a graduate of Queens College in Charlotte and a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Her passions were volunteering at her church and the EFM Group, vacationing at the beach and shopping in Charlotte. She was a licensed sales assistant for various financial firms in Columbia, most recently with Morgan Stanley. Survivors include her cousins, James T. O'Neal, III of Chapin, Roland L. O'Neal of Mt. Pleasant, and Paul E. O'Neal of Eden, NC. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, September 16th in Keenan Chapel of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral with The Rev. Canon Andrew Grosso and The Rev. Kris Litman-Koon officiating. Interment will follow at West End Cemetery, St. Matthews.
