Larry Edenfield Obituary

Larry Samuel Edenfield Sr. U.S. Navy (Ret.) PELION Entered into rest Sunday October 19, 2014, in Tidewater Hospice, Mr. Larry Samuel Edenfield, Sr., U.S. Navy (Ret.). He was the son of the late Mr. Ernest Edenfield and the late Mrs. Rena Bell Floyd Edenfield. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014, in the Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Sharpe officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the United States Navy Ceremonial Team. Mr. Edenfield was a native of Winnsboro, SC, and had made Pelion his home for the past 30 years. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Navy and retiring in 1979 with 21 years of service. Survivors include three sons, Brian C. Edenfield, Portland, OR, Larry S. (Shannon) Edenfield, Pelion, John E. Edenfield, Pelion; two daughters, Julie (Andy) Alexander, Friona, TX, Lara S. Edenfeld, Pelion; three sisters, Judy Livingston, New Ellenton, Patsy Dinkins, Elgin; nine grandchildren. Mr. Edenfield was predeceased by one sister, Tappiann Dickers. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight, Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at COLE FUNERAL HOME, 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175. Patsy, Judy & Family,
I was so sorry to of Larrys' passing.
It's been a lot of years since I last saw him. He will always be remembered as family and a friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.
