Martha E. Brannon
July 15, 1944 - January 3, 2022
Irmo, South Carolina - Martha Brannon was born July 15, 1944 in Columbia, SC to the late Wily and Martha Hook.
She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. Martha moved to New Jersey where she met Sammuel L. Brannon, Sr. They married and had one daughter, Sandra Brannon Frasier of Irmo, SC and a son, Sammuel L. Brannon, Jr (Tonya) of Moore, SC. They settled in Summerdale, New Jersey and then moved to Irmo, SC in 1975, where she joined St. Peter Baptist Church and worked at Pepsi Cola where she retired.
Martha was the president of the St. Peter Baptist Church Mother's Board Ministry.
Martha leaves to cherish her memories three grandchildren, Deion Frasier, Caleb Brannon and Alexis Frasier; a great-grandson, DeMichael Frasier; two sisters, Illeen Davison of Fayetteville, NC and Mae Hook of Hempistead, NY; two nephews, Johnathan Taylor and Andre Davison and a host of other relatives and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, January 8, 12pm at St. Peter Baptist Church, 7910 Broad River Road, Irmo, SC 29063.
