Maurine Huey Obituary
Mrs. Huey, widow of George Edwin Huey, died November 25, 2009. Born March 24, 1926, in Florence, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Hester McKelvey Womble. She was a member of Shandon Baptist Church and a wonderful homemaker, mother and wife.
Surviving are her sons, Jim Huey, Williamston, N.C., Tom Huey, Ellijay, Ga.; grandchildren, Megan Johnson, Jonathan Huey; sister, Earline Hall, Syracuse, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth Children’s Home, P.O. Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250.

Dear Tommy, We were home for Thanksgiving visiting my Mom and she told me your Mom had passed away. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. She was such a wonderful Mom and wife. Hope your life is wonderful. God Bless!
