Columbia, South Carolina - A graveside service for Nancye Daniel McAmis, 67, will be held at 2:00 p.m Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Mrs. McAmis passed away peacefully Thursday, October 28, 2021 after a short illness. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Daniel and Billie Davis Daniel. She attended A.C. Flora High School, graduated from Dreher High School, and attended The University of South Carolina. Nancye worked at Wells Fargo until she retired.
Surviving are her daughter, Savannah McAmis (fiancé, Alex Black) of Chesterfield, VA; sisters, Debbie Daniel (husband, Jack McGregor) of Columbia, SC and Terri Mitchum (husband, David) of Elgin, SC; nephews, Andrew Mitchum and Todd Mitchum (wife, Alexa); great nephew and nieces; and her four-legged companion, Maddy.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Michael Stephen McAmis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pawmetto Lifeline, 1275 Bower Pkwy, Columbia, SC 29212.

I was shocked to hear of Nancye's Passing. We had not talked with her in a while. Now I know why. Our friendship went back over fifty years to when we were young teenagers. We are losing members of our little "gang" from those years and it is sad. Nancye, or as we named her, "Fancy Nancye" was always smiling, happy and fancy free. We will miss her but the pleasant memories live on. Our sincere condolences to Savannah, Debbie and Terri for your loss. God Bless

So sorry to hear this. I always thought Nancye would out live me. Have many good memories of her. We worked together for two ( or three) different employers.

So Sorry To Hear Of Nancye's "Passing". My Sincerest Condolences And Prayers To Her Daughter And Family. She And I Were Co-Workers And Good Friends When We Worked Together
At Southern Bell Back In The 70s. Nancye Was Always Cheerful, Had A Joke, And Always Had On That Beautiful And Infectious Smile!!
