Barbara and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Pat was our AFGE rep during my time as Local AFGE President in WB, Pa. He was very helpful to our office and well respected for his advice. He loved sharing stories about Packy and his family. In addition to business, we were friends and always shared laughs when he came to the office. In deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Barbara and Family,
I just heard of Pat's passing this evening. I am so saddened, I can't express. Pat was instrumental in getting me into my career with AFGE and always looked after me like a family member. I only wish I had heard of his passing earlier so that I could have made the trip back home to Pittston to pay my respects to this man who had such a profound impact on my life. I know Pat was aware of how much I appreciated what he did for me all those years ago, but I'm sure he never really knew how very much I respected and loved him like a brother. He was one of a kind indeed. I want to express my heartfelt sympathy to you Barbara, to Pat, Jr. and Family. May God bless you all and grant eternal rest unto my dear old friend Pat Laporte.
