Chapin, South Carolina - Wodtke, Pauline Lucile (nee Hanson), 94, of Chapin, SC, passed peacefully November 2, 2025 shortly before her 95th birthday.
Formerly of Minneapolis, MN, she is survived by sons, Jerry, Ron (Kate) and Arnie (Josie); grandchildren, Christa (Steven) Bellock, Mike (Lisa) Wodtke, Katie Wodtke, Laura (Wodtke) Aydt, Amanda (Nick) Rentmeester and Alicia Wodtke; great-grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, Meghan and Charles (Bellock), Palmer and Dylan (Wodtke), Corbin (Aydt) and Mason (Rentmeester); brother Russell Hanson, sisters-in-law Rosella "Toni" Hanson, Eileen Hanson, Rosemary Hanson, and Connie Hanson, nieces, nephews, and their families.
Preceded in death by her parents and her infant son, her great-grandson Joseph (Bellock), her daughter-in-law Jan (Longerbone) Wodtke, sisters Gwen Hanson and Judy (Hanson) Kranitz, brothers Richard Hanson, Douglas Hanson, Derald Hanson, Laverne Hanson, Milton Hanson, Jack Hanson, Roland Hanson, and Raymond Hanson, brother-in-law Paul Hanson and sisters-in-law Pat Hanson, Betty Hanson, Irene Hanson and Nita Hanson.
Born in Polk County, WI, her family moved to Minneapolis in 1943 where her father, Arley Hanson, a laborer at General Mills and her mother, Adah (Sorenson) Hanson, a seamstress, raised their large, rambunctious family. A Memorial Service will take place on December 4th, 2025 in Minneapolis, MN.
